Well, I guess the Pagani company hoped that their new Zonda Tricolore will be able to attract the consumers to drive this special product in order to show their pride and nationality. The Zonda was designed and produced along the celebration of 50th anniversary of “Frecce Tricolori”. Pagani hopes that the Zonda is able to express and show their honor and respect for the national aerobatic team. Frecce Tricolori, meaning Tricolor Arrows, is the 313th aerobatic training squadron of Italian Air Force. Their squadron base is located in the province of Udine, in Rivolto Air Force Base, the northern easter of Friuli Venezia-Giuli.
The 50th anniversary celebration will be held at Rivolto Airport, showing the Frecce Tricolori to fly MB-339-A/PAN Aermachi – the two seats aircraft – in formation of nine aircraft and solo one. Pagani hopes the Zonda will be the long lasting legacy of Italian nationality.
